To Dare to tune into the wisdom and pleasure of our bodies. To honor the places that hold pain and renewal. To Dare to descend and arise, transformed in the never ending cycle of death and regeneration. To reenchant the world around us from a more embodied and integrated place. To Dare to join in honest connection where liberation, love, equity, beauty, joy, gratitude, sensuality, dignity, and reverence for all life on earth is at the heart of our sacred space.

I am your host, Erin O'Brien, licensed psychotherapist in practice for over 20 years, intuitive healer, relationship counselor, and dare I say, witch, and if you are willing, your friend. Together we will descend into the mystery, into the exquisite darkness because true liberation starts with healing from the inside out. And it happens when we dare to go there, together.

Where are we going, you may ask? Well, we are delving into all the realms of our experience. We will move through our body, heart, mind, soul, spirit, original and chosen family, relationships, communities, cultures, dominant systems in society, intergenerational patterning, ancestral wounds and wisdom, and the great expanse of our collective. Because when we are together, we will seek to know what is true. We will alchemize and transform, knowing that our fates are inevitably intertwined with one another. So let’s will it together.

My offering here will be a combination of solo explorations together, and deep dives with other like-hearted therapists, healers, intuitives, activists, magickal practitioners, artists, abolitionists, astrologers, visionaries, witches, and more. This is a place that will weave together the relational, social, and sacred sciences, because oh yes, they are all connected. I want to support our journey of transformation by sharing practices that we can facilitate because ultimately we are our own wisest guide, healer, and teacher. Our body holds so much intelligence if we just slow down enough to listen. When we know how to keep silent and just be, just breathe, just listen, we know how to summon our greatest powers of transformation.

We will explore practices that focus on increasing our somatic awareness, trauma integration, and nervous system regulation. We will work with our shadow to illuminate what needs to be alchemized or released. We will dismantle our internalized systems of dominance and extraction so we resonate with the reciprocity and abundance of life. We will deepen our understanding of intersectionality and how our social location in the world shifts our experiences of power and disembodiment. We will strive to relate with others in ways that are embodied and promote connection, celebrate differentiation, and respectfully move through rupture or conflict so that all beings preserve their dignity. We will conjure the wisdom of our ancestors to strengthen our communal spaces. We will create rituals to attune with the cycles of nature, lunar rhythms, astrology, and the wheel of the year. We will do pathworkings and divination to deepen our relationship to our Higher Self, Spirit Team, Intuition, Magick, Soul’s purpose, and so much more.

We are all here on Earth right now. It’s time To Dare to take a stand for healing, transformation, and collective liberation. And the first step starts from within. Let’s take it together.

In today's episode we explore a rare run of lunations in the coming months—three supermoons in Aries, Taurus, and Gemini—followed by a micro new moon just before the winter solstice. Each phase offers its own pathway for transformation but ultimately will work best when built on each other: fire that emboldens right action, earth that grounds what we call into being, air that clarifies voice and message, and a double-dark void that invites deep planting and deep release. We dive into these potent lunations occurring on October 6th Super Full Moon in Aries; November 5th Super Full Moon in Taurus; and December 4th Super Full Moon in Gemini. We also explore the culminating force of release and creation occurring on December 19th with a Micro New Moon in Sagittarius just days before the December 21st Winter Solstice which will be offering a Double Dark of the Moon! We weave together ways to work with this cycle of lunar magick to ready ourselves for clarity, truth, and transformation if we want to be ready for the battle ahead, we must first confront the battle within. The heartbeat of this conversation is simple: change is here, and the only way we steer it is by changing ourselves first.

Hello and welcome back. Get ready to dare together, truth seeking in the depths for healing, transformation, and collective liberation. My name is Aaron O'Brien. I'm your host. I'm a therapist in practice for over 20 years, a intuitive healer, a truth teller and seer and striving to be, and a relationship counselor, and dare I say, which. So it has been exactly a month since my last offering here, which was September 7th on the Blood Moon, and it has been a whirlwind of a month. And what I want to dive right into in our episode today is the powerful series of three supermoons that are occurring over the course of the next three months, one of which happened yesterday, last night. And because I believe that the energies are still potent, I wanted to put this offering out there in case you want to still take advantage of the powerful uh lunation that is happening. So let me just get right into it. I have the deep privilege to be in magical spiritual uh community with a lot of very wise, brilliant uh healers, witches, practitioners, activists, folks who are striving for truth and love and liberation for all of us. And it's going to take all of us to come together. So what I'm gonna speak to right now is wise suggestions and astrological insight into what is happening and some suggestions on how to work with it for the purpose of transformation of ourselves. It has to start within. We have to go there first. And so this moment yesterday, there was the first of the series of three supermoons, and it occurred in Aries, which is that powerful fire sign, and we can use that energy for our own truth and healing and putting us in right relationship and alignment with our highest path and purpose and our deepest integrity, and to walk the path that we feel called to walk. And that is going to be different for everybody, but we all have a role in what's coming and what's already here. So the first supermoon happened yesterday, like I said, and I participated in my Covens uh monthly full moon healing right, and we did some really beautiful pathworking there. And then this morning I still was able to work with the beautiful supermoon as it was much lower in the sky and do some personal ritual work, um, things that I'm uh striving to birth, create, uh, transform in myself and call and call in for myself. So what is a supermoon? Let me just maybe start there. That would probably be helpful. So the supermoon is actually when the moon in its orbit is closest to the earth, so it looks huge, and all of the energy is amplified, and this also can occur with new moons. So a super new moon, again, the energy is amplified in how you would work with a new moon. And in December, there's going to be a micro new moon. So I'm gonna talk about that in a moment, and let me back up. Everything that I am sharing right now is brilliant information that has come to me through elders in my in my tradition, and Ivo Dominguez Jr. in particular, you know, posted on his Instagram page, and I was you know privileged to have an email as part of part of his tradition and the community related to this wise guidance around how to work with these three supermoons. And so the first one was on October 6th, the second one is actually occurring on November 5th, and that is also the astrological Sawin. And so Sawin is the time of year where the veil is very thin uh between all the realms, and uh this is also uh, you know, one of the eight holidays that we witches and pagans and druids celebrate, that Halloween gets a lot of its roots from. And it's a time of celebrating and working with our ancestors and looking at what needs to, what are the things that need to die so that we can begin to transform and to really work with that the liminal realms and the veil is so thin at that time. So the next supermoon, the second one is is occurring on that astrological potent holiday of Sawim. The third supermoon is occurring on December 4th. And let me back up. The supermoon that's occurring in November is a supermoon that is happening in Taurus. Uh, so the one on October 6th is in Aries, which is technically yesterday. You can still use the energy. The one that's happening next month on November 5th is in Taurus, and the one that is happening on December 4th is in Gemini. And so what is one suggestion that I've been given and uh have decided to do, and and you know, is happening across lots of covens that I'm you know in community with is doing an intentional series of three rituals that build on each other using the power of the supermoon for transformation. However, you want to use this amplified energy, this Aries supermoon that happened yesterday but is still available for you to work with now and in the next few days for the beautiful Taurus moon, the supermoon that's happening on November 5th, astrological soin, the veil is so thin. How do you want to use that deep earthy energy around things that you might want to call in, create, manifest? Right? That is the at the heart of the earth element, the fertile ground, the soil, the deep dark cave of dreams. What do you want to call in to this earthly realm and bring forth? How do you want to work with your ancestors or your bloodlines or your ancestors that are not of your bloodline, but of other energy energetic connections? And, you know, kind of staying with what Supermoon we're currently experiencing right now as it's kind of in moving in its decline of energy is certainly Aries and the fire of that passion, purpose, divine will, right action? How do you want to feel emboldened and to feel the courage rising up from the flame, your divine spark? How do you want to stoke that and and let that rise up? How do you want to transform yourself from out of the ashes, the Phoenix rising, all of that Aries energy? One of my one of my children, uh, Sonny, is Aries son. And her light is powerful. I learned a lot from her, actually. And I just every time I think about that Aries energy, I think about what just exuberance and passion and vitality and just that force that can transform. It's it's really inspiring and powerful. So, how do you want to work with that? And then moving into December 4th, the third and final supermoon in this series is in Gemini, that air sign that holds so much uh complexity, and in and of itself is a liminal realm of possibility. And it is, you know, the breath of new beginnings. It is also an exhale of completion all at the same time. It's it's it exists in in that fluid space. And it we need that energy right now to reimagine and to align all of the uh parts of us and uh to to bring into communication how we want to be speaking to ourselves, how we want to be channeling uh words of truth and clear speech and inspiration or incitement to get things in motion that need to be rising up, moving forward, right? Calling out, calling in, confronting, coming together, caring for each other, all of all of those potent energies. And then I want to also name that there is an additional very potent, powerful lunation that's occurring just before the winter solstice, which happens on December 21st. It's happening on December 19th, just right before. And that is what we refer to, or what I've recently learned is what we refer to as a micro new moon. And basically what this is, is it's sort of the flip of the supermoon. So the new moon on December 19th is going to be the farthest distance from the earth in its orbit. And so we know that the winter solstice is considered the dark of the sun, right? It's like the darkest day where there's the least amount of sun present. And so we've got a beautiful double dark moon that is kind of happening right at the culmination of the series of three. So take what you will, you know, that feels like it resonates with you and how you might want to build on these supermoons and then have it culminate in something that you want to birth or bring forward, or open a door to a new beginning, new chapter, a seed you want to plant. I mean, new moons, and this is a double dark, double dark new moon at the winter solstice. I mean, it's very powerful lunation here. You can release patterns, things that you do not want to bring forward. You can plant things that you want to create and call forth. So this is really powerful time to do that. So again, this is information. I am not an astrologer. I have the deep honor of being in community with brilliant astrologers and I learn from them. And this is something that again, one of my elders posted on his Instagram. So I I feel confident that I can share it and uplift those words here in a public platform. So I want to now shift a bit to thinking about the astrology that is coming in 2026. And in February, in particular, there is really uh powerful astrological influences that are occurring. And I've been speaking into this a bit in in different conversations here about the way that this tide is turning, and we're in a battle. I'll just be blunt. We are in a battle right now, and it is not a new battle, and it certainly rhymes with history and it repeats, but we are in a moment where there are energies and celestial happenings where things can radically change, and the change that is going to happen could go a couple of different ways, and we have more power than we know in how we want to call in the reality that we want, that we need right now, and it is going to require first a battle that happens within. What are you willing to confront inside your own body, your own spirit, your own soul that you have not had the courage to confront? What do you need to address? What have you been avoiding? What have you been putting off? What needs tending, healing, attention? Because to play the role that you are called to play, should you take up the charge? Should you walk the path on your highest calling and your highest purpose, what you came here to do in your highest self and in alignment with your divine will and spark and all that is divine, because we all are. Really reckoning with what you see in your own reflection, what has been hidden, right? What's in the shadow? I mean, we do shadow work forever and always, it's always happening. And this is a moment. Fire of Aries can burn away, right? It can, it can address the blockages, it can burn away, it can transform, it can, you know, uh reshape, you know, think about the forge and metal, what it does to metal, it can reshape the strongest of the strong metals. And so it can do a lot when you work with that energy. What do you need to reshape for yourself? And also using Scorpio, using water, water also shapes. Water can over time change the landscape of the very ground beneath you, the mountain, right? And so ask yourself, what do I need to change? Because this is a moment of change. And whether you are willing to address the changes that need to happen in you, it's going to matter in how effective you are at creating the changes that you want to see around you. You can't go out there before you go in here. And when I think about the things I want to change, I think about how am I upholding systems of oppression? How do I continue in small and big ways to support the very system of dominance that I want to dismantle in that, you know, moment of weakness or impatience or seeking convenience over right action? Do I buy that thing on Amazon because it will get here today? And that that's a that's a small and big thing. How am I in right relationship with the change I want to see in the world inside myself? And so, as above, so below, it's real. And at the risk of sounding preachy, which I loathe the preachy, the preachy preach. So I want to back up and let me feel into the words of truth and things that are clear and need to be spoken. And that is we have to change ourselves right now, or we don't have a chance in what's coming. You have to battle with yourself first, and you have to overcome the parts of you that mimic and replicate the stuff that's out there, right? And it's, I would argue, harder work. And so find your allies, find your groups of solidarity, find the places and spaces where you can have a safe container or a container where you can be in the work and accept safe enough, right? To do the work, let the people you trust mirror your spots of shadow, right? That are hidden and you need to feel them, you need to find them. And sometimes we need more hands to do that. We need more people, we need more light. So I'm feeling into that Aries energy and using the fire of the supermoon. You can still use it. Please do, and create a series of three. The number three is powerful. And figure out how you want to use the elemental support and the and each sign support and anything else you want to call in, right? That can support you, your higher self, your deities, your your beings, uh, seen and unseen, your beloveds, that can keep you accountable and in right relationship with walking the path, the path you're here to walk, and help you know what that path is and be in integrity with it. And I'm thinking about the the dark, the the dark, dark moon, the new moon that's coming up on December 19th, and how let yourself really, really imagine with endless possibility the thing you want to create, the world you want to call in. Because that's what we're doing right now. That's what needs to be done. And it has to be a world that is different than any world we've known so far. And we can pull in and call in the things that we want to bring forward, right? The love, the goodness, the gratitude, the lessons, all of that. And we have to be ready to envision what is going to reestablish right relationship with ourselves and with each other and with the land and with you know, the divine, whatever that means for you, how we're all connected, the collective. So ready yourself for the battle. We need you, and change is happening, it's going to happen, but we get to decide what that change is going to be. Let yourself, let yourself see it and feel it and dream it. And please go big. Go big because this is the moment. And I know that we are tired and we are scared. And we are divided sometimes. And that is what keeps us passive and small, and believing that we are weak or powerless, and we're not. We're not. And we have an abundant amount of power when we stand together, when we move together. That's the only way. So focus on what needs to be changed within you over these next three months. Use that energy and ready yourself for what's coming because it could be beautiful. There's so much beauty here, there's so much love, there's so much wisdom, and work with your ancestors, work with your guides and your guardians and your protectors. Slow down and let that wisdom come in, those messages, that channeling. Do your meditation, do your pathworking, do your walk in nature and commune with the trees and the plants and the sky and the birds. And do your divination. So in the spirit of the Aries moon, I wanted to pull from a deck that I use. I've been using this tarot deck for so long. And it is the Druid Craft, uh, which is sort of a you know integration of Druid practices and uh witchcraft, Wicca. And so this deck was written and created by Philip and Stephanie Carr Gaum, which I hope I'm saying their names right. I've I have some of their books and they're they put out a lot about Druid craft. And so I've had this tarot deck for a while. Let me just cut to the chase. I'm seeing that I'm running out of time here. So I I asked uh when I was when I was shuffling, when I was pulling and I was connecting in, I asked for a message for the collective for right now how to work with this energy around the supermoon in Aries, the first of three. And of course, I pulled the ace of wands. And so I'm going to read it. I'm going to read what this beautiful book says about that. And then you can take what works, leave the rest. So the ace of wands. And the image on here is this uh kind of long branch with these birch trees, and the wand is made of living birch, and we see the tree that it came from in the distance, and it's Om, the tree language of the Druids. The birch stands for the number one, the idea of birth and beginnings. And I am a part of a coven called Grail of the Birch Moon. So I especially appreciated this. And uh, the wand is offered to us from the heart of the sun, the source of creative fire, initiative, and energy. How interesting, right? The Aries supermoon is happening right now. So the meaning of this: the gift of creative energy or of an original and existing and exciting, sorry, exciting idea is within your grasp or has been given to you. The qualities of the element of fire, enthusiasm, energy, vitality, intuition may all be enhanced in your life. Now is the time for creative activity, right action, or for any endeavor that requires plenty of energy and enthusiasm. The card can also represent the quality of initiative, taking responsibility for an idea and putting it into practice with optimism and a firm belief in its successful outcome. Since the number one contains the idea of completion within it too, the card may also represent the completion or fulfillment of a project or creative endeavor. So the number one can symbolize it's both its completion and its new beginning. So this works really well with Aries, which is the beginning of the zodiac and it's the spark. And so this is all about that kind of catalytic energy, catalyst energy. Um, and I want to also name one of my elders in my tradition, her name is Robin, and she uh put out you just a beautiful suggestion of a series of rituals to build on itself and you know, speaking into how we could use Aries energy and kind of using it as a as a catalyst for for right action and what you know what you want to be creating momentum and movement towards. So I want to offer that. So that was the card for us for this first of three supermoons in Aries. The next one is November 5th, astrological Sawin. It's happening in Taurus. And the third one is December 4th, happening in Gemini. And then December 19th. I'm being redundant here with intention. December 19th, right before the winter solstice, the dark of the sun. We are having a double dark micro new moon. So you can literally, energetically, I cannot put this enough with enough heart and ask invitation, right? Calling you in. Dream the world, the change you want to see, because change is coming. The tide is swelling, and it's change is happening, and we get to decide what that change is going to be, and it's going to require work, the uncomfortable work, the hardest work. And there are a lot of deities here right now that want to support us. So close your eyes, tune in, see what voices, what feelings, what visions you get, because there is a grand rising happening. And there are a lot of deities and goddesses in particular. And I'm not trying to live in the binary. I am just naming that historically how their native source and how they are referred to is goddesses. And the one that I have a you know ongoing relationship with the Morrigan that I've spoken about here in past conversations, is wanting us to be sovereign because we cannot create sovereignty for us all, for our community, for the land, for the world, unless we find our truth and overcome the battle within and reclaim our sovereignty because we belong to ourselves, and we have to be true to ourselves. And so, how have you been lying to yourself? What have you been denying? What have you been avoiding? You have to confront it. You have to because we need you to be who you are meant to be in the battle ahead. Because it's here and it's coming. So get ready. I'm gonna leave this here, and I'm feeling the passion of that Aries supermoon. It is flowing through my blood. And I hope that my words can land with the light and the warmth and the love that is flowing from from them, from me to you, because you are important. We are important and we need to come together. So believe in yourself. Believe in yourself. See yourself, see your truth, and live it. Do it, be it, say it, say it, say it. Okay. I think that's all that wants to come through right now. Thank you.
