Welcome back to Week 6 of my Spring-Summer series called Embodiment as Sacred Force for Change!  Today’s episode was recorded on the First Quarter Moon in Leo, as Venus moved into Gemini, holding a loving hand out for Uranus to follow.  We explore the transformative power of Uranus as the great cosmic disruptor, and we use this influence to examine how harmful thoughts patterns perpetuate disembodiment.  We connect this to the “water experiment” by Dr. Emoto in the book, “What The Bleep Do We Know,” by William Arntz and how words are powerful spells that create change at the molecular level!

We shift into our embodiment practice, which is a guided body blessing of love and gratitude that moves from head to feet, pairing touch with clear language. Hands on the head becomes gratitude for focus and vision; eyes become a doorway to connection and inner sight; throat becomes a commitment to speak for justice, equity, and decolonization; heart and lungs become  gratitude for breath and blood, ancestry and land, belly becomes nourishment and creative center, and so on.  We complete the process by offering blessings outward to the earth, the collective, and the divine  through movement and dance, honoring the reciprocal relationship that connects us all.

Thank you for tuning in.  If you’re ready for more then join me each week, and get ready To Dare, Together!  If this resonates, subscribe so you don’t miss out, share it with someone who needs body-based, spirit-centered support right now.

Opening Vision For Decolonized Healing

SPEAKER_00

Hello, friend. Welcome. My name is Erin O'Brien, and I'm daring to create and hold space for decolonized healing, transformation, and collective liberation. I'm a licensed psychotherapist for over 20 plus years, a relationship counselor, a spiritual intuitive, shadow worker, and witch. And I believe that true therapeutic practice calls for right action and remembers all the ways of well-being. This is a place that will remember the old truths and reconnect them to their land and to their people. Together, we will unite the relational, social, spiritual, psychological, ancestral, scientific, environmental, political, and magical. Because it is most powerful when working as a sacred whole. As are we. 2026 is a time to dare to create the world that we've been dreaming of. To dare to be the dream we have been waiting for. Let's do

First Quarter Moon Astrology Check In

SPEAKER_00

it. Okay. I am recording today on the first quarter moon. And it is April 24th, 2026. And today the moon is in Leo and the Sun is in Taurus. And Venus has officially moved into Gemini. And we've got another big hitter. Now Venus is a personal planet, but we've got a big hitter coming. And that is Uranus. Uranus is leaving Taurus where it has been since 2018. And it retrograded a bit. Well, it like moved into Gemini for a brief period of time over the summer, I don't know, like June to November maybe. Uh, but it then retrograded back into Taurus, where it's been since November. Now, tomorrow on Saturday, April 25th, it is going to leave Taurus. And we will never likely be on the planet, at least in this incarnation, when it is back in Taurus again. Because Uranus is an outer planet, it's a generational planet, and I think its orbit is something like 80 or so years. So it's a big once-in-a-lifetime

Uranus Leaves Taurus Disruption

moment. Now I want to share something unsurprising. I am a huge fan of Florence and the Machine. I adore, adore, adore flow, if I can call her that. And I love that she is a witch and pagan and really channels something pretty fierce around the energy of receptivity, of creativity, of embodying the sacred feminine, which is an energy. It is magical. It is the creatrix. It is all the things. So anyway, I just freaking love

Florence Tickets And Perfect Timing

SPEAKER_00

her. So I have been over the years seeing when will she be here where I am located on Turtle Island in Wilmington, Delaware. So Philly or New York or DC are the closest cities that I could go to. And you know, I maybe she's been here in the last few years and I just missed it, likely because I, you know, had small babies and that, you know, is pretty time consuming. But she is here. She is here, folks. And I'm so excited because I found out actually while I was holding space for a couple folks I was working with and doing some relational work with them. And one of the partners expressed excitement about flow coming to town. And I was like, oh my goodness, thank you so much. This is a divine message for me. So I got tickets and blah, blah, blah. Okay, cut to the chase. I found out on Monday, I got an email that her concert was canceled. It was in Philadelphia. And because of a local sports team that's in the playoffs, the concert was canceled. All of our tickets were refunded, kind of on the spot. And then we had a period of 12 to 24 hours for the current ticket holders to quickly go on the new location, which now the concert has moved to Atlantic City, New Jersey, and to quickly try to scramble and get yourself some seats before they open it up to the public. Anyway, I bring this up because it was very, very expected because on that day, Uranus is moving out of Tarson into Gemini. And Uranus is the disruptor. It is the planet that brings huge change and it is a generational, so it impacts the collective. And how in my mind there's reciprocity between what's going on personally, and then how that is mirroring what goes on in the collective. So as we do our own personal disrupting patterns, we're also feeding, and that flows back into the collective and how we're healing and disrupting harmful patterns and the colonial mindset there as well. So all that to say, I'm gonna see Florence tomorrow. And I'm very excited, and we were able to get really good seats, and now it's gonna be a fun overnight. So, you know, I'm jamming

Embodiment Practice For Taurus Season

SPEAKER_00

out on that. Very excited. What I want to speak to today, now we are in week six, even though I am gonna publish week five probably later today when I get around to editing it. But what I want to share is an embodiment practice today that really channels again, Venus being now in Gemini, leading the way for Uranus to enter Gemini with love, with shifting big patterns of intention and thought and that Gemini energy of holding the liminal, the multiplicity, the multi-dimension, all that. So, what I want to talk about today is first of all, here's a question. Have you ever either read the book or seen the film What the Bleep Do We Know? If you have not, it came out in 2004, and it was a book um written by, oh my goodness, where is this author? La la la la la. William Arnes. And then it became a movie, and it became an international best-selling book, and it was really exploring the research around quantum physics and all the things that we don't know, right? The the universe, the aspects of mysticism and spirituality and consciousness and all of that gorgeous stuff. So, what I want to tune into right now is we just did a practice in week five, being with our body and listening to our body and healing colonial wounds, ancestral wounds, familial wounds that exist in our body. And what we're gonna do today for our embodiment practice in Tara season that's gonna be all about body work and movement and working with our land and honoring our land and worshiping it. That's what we're about to do. So wait, before I get into all that, I want to say one

Crows Morrigan And Devotion

SPEAKER_00

quick thing because that's how I roll. Something really exciting happened to me, and I need to share it. So I have been trying to cultivate a relationship with my local neighborhood crows and ravens. And if you're just now tuning in for the first time, cool, welcome. How are you? And you're gonna discover that um I am like someone that can go off on a tangent, and here I am about to do it. But I am really focused on developing the right relationship with ancestry and decolonizing my body and our bodies as uh, you know, embodiment, sacred force for change. That's what this whole series is about. And how I've been doing that in my personal practice and work is developing a relationship with an Irish goddess, the Morrigan. And I've been doing that in many different ways and forms and shapes over the course of a couple of years now. So, in the spirit of that, part of my devotional practice is feeding the local crows and ravens. And I've done a whole, you know, YouTube deep dive on like how do you, what do they like to eat and how do you do it, and how do you like make friends with them? Because the Morrigan is a shape shifter and one of the very well-known forms that she takes is the crow and the hooded crow in specific that is native to Irish land. So, not the crows that live in my neighborhood, but it's you know, the cousins. So, you know, I'm gonna love on them. Anyway, I got myself two giant bags of wildlife peanuts that are shelled and raw. And, you know, you're not supposed to eat them if you're human. So, I mean, maybe if you're really hungry, you can. I mean, we eat lots of things. Anyway, where am I going with this? I've been feeding my local crows, and my child, my five-year-old Sonny, has been accompanying me on this daily task. So after we have dinner, often we'll be sitting out on the front porch and I will see our local crows and they roost on top of a building across the street. And I will, every time I see them, I will call, call. And I don't know if that actually is a friendly signal or if it's annoying to them, but I can't stop doing it. I'll be in the middle of a conversation and I will just have to engage with these crows as they fly by. Anyway, I was working on something for a beloved that I support earlier today. And I was sitting on my couch, I had my windows open, and I saw a beautiful, enormous blackbird. I think it was a crow, it might have been a raven, and they were just sitting on the fence right there. And I have put these peanuts all over my walkway. And this amazing black crow hopped down off the fence and started eating the nuts, my offering. So that is the first time that that has happened, and it is on the first quarter moon in Leo, and I'm just really feeling the divine spark of that. And uh, yeah, it just feels really good, really cool. And anytime I get some kind of connection point like that, I just feel like it's a divine message letting me know you're on the right path. And so I was really committed to trying to do some recording today because it can be a little challenging for me to find the time and make the time. And I'm doing it. And it felt like that was just more support, like,

Water Intention Experiment And Spells

SPEAKER_00

you know, do it. You you got this. So I want to talk about the experiment that was done with water in the book, What the Bleep Do We Know? And Japanese scientist Dr. Imoto did this amazing experiment with water molecules. And what he theorized was the power of our intention, and intention and thought our spells. That is magic, that is working with energy, and in quantum physics, the belief that there is so much in the field, the quantum field that we can't see, but that does exist. So he took water molecules out of this beautiful sacred spring, and I'm forgetting the name of it, but it was um he he distilled, you know, he took the molecules and then he put them under a microscope and displayed these various portraits really of the molecules under the microscope having various things done to it. And this is what was done. So the first molecule was just the water in its pure form. So you got to see it without any kind of the, I guess, baseline of it. The second portrait that he displayed was the water molecule being imbued with a blessing from a Zen Buddhist monk. And you can just see the molecule is sort of just looks ethereal and beautiful and brilliant. And how he did this, he would put a word written on the bottle of the water and he would have it sit overnight, and then he would take some of the water and he would drop it under the microscope and take the picture of it. And that was how he did this. And then he put some words on different water bottles, words like I hate you, or I want to kill you, or you are disgusting, things like that. And what he discovered was how intention, the spell really, of that word placed on that bottle, that then was magnified and displayed, you really see how the molecule of the water changes form. And it is not pleasant. I mean, it looks distorted, it looks very different, right? And what this study is inviting us to consider today, as Venus is in Gemini, and our work with our embodied practices and the power of spell, it's inviting us to consider the impact of our energy that is self-directed at our body, right? How are we relating to our body? How are we talking to it? How are we treating it? All of that is a spell. It has impact to your body, and it's very powerful. So what Dr. Emodo was proposing in the study, and what the book highlights, is we are made up of 90% water. Our bodies are 90% water. So imagine that. And what I said a couple episodes ago around how energy, and in my Irish ancestry, the way they relate to magic is it is quite simply energy. And energy moves through barriers and creates pressure that moves through water, among a few other things, right? So if we are made up of about 90% water, and a one word just pasted on a bottle overnight can distort and change the pure nature and image of a water molecule. Imagine what we are doing to ourselves. This is the colonial impact, the colonial wound. So what we're gonna do today, should you decide to be with me in this practice, we are going to pour love and devotion and act of worship to our body, our earth, our land that wires us to this material plane and connects us, and we are of earth. So what I want to invite you to do is consider

Colonization Hidden In Everyday Language

SPEAKER_00

being with your body. And I want to actually back up because I want to reference something that I heard on a podcast that I followed, Embodied Astrology, and Renee Sills does a Sematic Space Weekly forecast and embodiment practice. And one of the things that they were speaking to, that I hadn't ever thought of it this way, but it makes so much sense. They were speaking to what is embedded in the English language and how colonization is embedded in the words we use within the English language. And we could also argue, right, in some of the other languages that were a part of colonization during the Western horrors that were happening from Spain and Portugal and England, as they were all competing for rights to lands that did not belong to them and had been tended to by the real stewards of that land. So what Renee was speaking to was how when we are speaking English, when we are using our language, if English is your first language, then it's gonna require more energy and intention and focus to slow yourself down and examine and be conscious of the power of your word and how there is inherent colonizer force within the words you use, the phrases we use that are just embedded in our psyche, in our Western collective unconscious, right? So we have to be dismantling those and slowing them down, and how there's inherent violence in these words that we use and these very common turn of phrases, if you will. I hadn't ever really thought of it that way. And so, in the spirit of honoring that, you know, new insight that I have, thanks to listening to that channeled message. I believe we're always listening to teachers and people are channeling things that we need to hear. I wanted to pull it forward here because part of what our practice is going to be is using words and energy and intention to pour love onto our body for the purpose of healing and re-enchanting and reclaiming our sovereignty and

Guided Body Blessing From Head Down

SPEAKER_00

promoting liberation. So here's what I want to invite you to do. And if you want to make it more ritualized, you can. You can do some cleansing or some type of water purification or a bath. You also don't have to, you can literally just do this wherever you are. And I want you to move through your body in whatever rhythm that feels intuitive to you and listen to your body. And I want you to bless your body, and maybe you start at the top of your head. And I'm right now just taking both of my hands and I'm placing them on my head, on my skull, and my hair, and you can say thank you for keeping my mind safe and contained and focused on my vision, my path. I love you. I bless you. And then you can move down to your your eyes if you want, and you can say thank you for being the doorway to my soul. So when I choose, I can make contact with others through this doorway. Thank you for letting me see. And I also want to point to the the third eye, right? The pineal gland, because that's our inner sight. So whether you're sighted or not, you have sight. And thank you for bringing me the sight that is clear and true, that pushes me on my path for the betterment of all life. I love you. I bless you. And then you can move to your throat, your voice, and you can, you know, if you want to massage it, if you want to touch it, if you want to just imagine that you're giving energy to it. Thank you for speaking words of decolonization and love and sound that that amplifies peace and connection and trust and word that moves in right relationship to justice and equity. I love you. I bless you. And you can move down to your chest if you want, where your heart is and your lungs, and you can offer a blessing of thank you and gratitude to the breath that moves through your body and brings oxygen. You can extend that out and thank the trees that supply the oxygen. And you can hold your heart and thank your beating heart filled with red, rich blood that moves the oxygen through your body and remembers your lineage, your bloodline, whether you have the privilege of knowing details or not. That is your blood and that connects you. And you can ask your blood for messages of connection and community for your ancestry. And imagine that it's blood that can run back into the rivers of where your original homeland is, where your people used to tend the land. And I love you. I bless you. You can move down to your belly, your stomach, and you can thank your organs, you can thank your digestion for taking the nourishment that when you feed your body, it is able to synthesize and process that and then give it back to you. And if you are a body that has ever carried a human, you can thank your uterus, your body, that part of your body for holding life and allowing life to gestate in your being. I love you. I bless you. And you can move down and you can be around your genitals and your kundalini life force part of your body, and you can thank that part of your body for letting you experience your life force in expanded ways and being with whether that area brings transcendence or pleasure or honor the gifts that are there, maybe that have not yet been discovered. And you can bless that part of your body and say thank you for showing me joy, and that my body is a place of play and imagination. And I love you, I bless you, and you can move down your body to your legs. Thank you, thank you for being the trunk that anchors me to the earth. Whether you are able to be mobile through your legs, if your legs, if you have privilege of ability to move your legs or not, your legs are the truth, it's it's a part of the roots and the and the the trunk that sort of um, I mean your torso is the trunk too. So let me get my let me get my my plant tree relations here. I mean, I think your legs are a part of that system, right? And if you are someone who can move around the earth on your legs, then you can bless your legs for for motion and being able to dance, to run, to skip, to play, to climb, all the things. I love you. I bless you. And then your feet. Now, technically, maybe your feet really are the roots because they make contact with the earth, and you're gonna bless your feet and thank your feet for providing contact and sensory experience with the earth so that you can remain balanced and that you can be connected. And I love you, I bless you. And I know for me, my feet in particular are a very sensory expanded area. I like love any kind of movement or touch sensation in that part of my body. It's very relaxing for me. And what we're gonna do is after you have moved through giving your body these blessings, I would like you to then offer a blessing outward to the earth, to the divine, to Venus, to your higher self, to

Dance Offerings And Closing Blessing

SPEAKER_00

the life around you. And if you feel so moved, I want you to move. And again, if you want to stay seated, you can if you are seated, if that's how you are in the world, then be where you are and you can move other parts of your body. This is for all bodies. And I want you to imagine that you could move your body in a way that evokes passion and sacred joy and pleasure and the act of you worshiping the temple that is your body and tending to it. And I'm going to be doing a lot of dancing at this flow concert tomorrow. So I'm gonna be really loving on some Uranus disruption energy, moving into Gemini, where it's gonna be, I think, till 2033 or something like that. So I'm gonna leave this here for now and I hope that you really spend time with this and bring in all the ritual, all the potency if that's your jam. And maybe you can even, as you're moving through your body, bring in that touch, bring in that massage. Maybe you have lotion or special, you know, how many of us have the privilege to go and you get your hair done or something like that? And it feels so nice, right? Why not massage your own head? How magical is that? So I'm gonna leave that here and we will reconvene next time, my dears. Thank you for being here. As above, so below, as within, so without.
